Co-Director of Communications Amber Williams
My name is Amber Williams. I am currently a nursing student at the
University of Hawai'i at Manoa and I will be graduating May 2016. I am
proud and enthusiastic to serve as HISNA's Co-Director of
Communications for the 2015-2016 academic year and look forward to
contributing to this wonderful organization.
To me, being a nurse is to work passionately alongside other
gifted leaders in order to serve humanity in it's many needs. I value
knowledge, health, science, education, equality, culture, and our
Earth, so for me, choosing nursing as a profession came naturally
after learning what it is nurses are capable of. In my free time, I
prioritize family above all else and enjoy any day I can spend with
them, I also love to bake, cook, read, photograph nature, and watch
foreign films and documentaries.
As an executive member of HISNA, I aim to represent nursing
students as true professionals, communicate with our community and
state to build lasting relationships with various organizations, and
build skills within myself and my student peers that will prepare us
to become stellar health-care providers upon completion of our nursing
programs. After all, we are all in this together. Please reach out and
contact me if I can be of service.
