Special Olympics Hawaii | Annual Aukake Classic
August 12-13, 2023

Special Olympics Hawaii held their Annual Aukake Classic on August 12-13 at Waiau District Park in Pearl City! Athletes from all across the state participated in a two-day competition in both soccer and bocce. Thank you to our HISNA E-Board members for volunteering for this wonderful event. HISNA looks forward to volunteering with Special Olympics Hawaii for future events and hopes that SNA members across Hawaii can join!

2023 Hawai'i Pacific Health Great Aloha Run
February 20, 2023

HISNA's E-board members partnered with HOSA members from Chaminade University of Honolulu and volunteered at the 2023 Hawai'i Pacific Heath Great Aloha Run. Our volunteers enjoyed distributing waters and bananas to the runners.
Great job to everyone who helped organize the Great Aloha Run and congratulations to the runners and everyone who came out to support the Carole Kai Charities!!

KBPA Kaimuki Christmas Parade

HISNA walked in the KBPA Kaimuki Christmas Parade! Our members had so much fun distributing nursing/health related goodies. We also helped the East Department of Health pass out Covid testing kits while they rocked their awesome Zumba dance moves!

St. Marianne Cope Walk and Wellness Fair

HISNA's E-board members participated in this virtual walk along with SNA members from Hawai'i Pacific University's (HPU) SNA to support St. Francis' Kupuna Village, a community for Hawai'i's older adult population.
Each team member spent an hour on 01/23/2021 walking, running or hiking!
Our team raised $325 for the cause, and the event was able to generate $136,000 in donations!
